My years as an indie music fan in the mid-90’s were shaped and colored by one band: Northampton’s Tizzy. For years I lived next door to Jen Stavely, Tizzy’s frontwoman, on King Street in Northampton. While I had my own closeted musical aspirations, I lived vicariously through Tizzy’s weekly practice sessions on King Street.
